A Beautiful Balance, Inc. (ABB) empowers children, youth, and young adults to reach their full potential with style and grace. We nurture their capacity to think, act purposefully, and feel compassion. Our programs offer creative design, expert seamstress services, innovative hairstyling, and social skills and etiquette training. Feeling "beautiful" is priceless; being "balanced" means feeling whole.

On behalf of A Beautiful Balance Inclusive, Inc. (ABBI) in partnership with Martha's Table, we would like to invite you to participate in “The 2025 Youth Entrepreneur’s Workshop” scheduled for Saturday, April 12, 2025, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at Martha's Table, 2375 Elvans Road SE, Washington DC20020.
This event is filled with fun and activities for our youth to present their entrepreneurship skills. The Financial Management and Information Technology workshops will provide participants with educational tools for success. In addition, each participant will be provided with an 8-foot table and two chairs to display and sell their products. We ask that you arrive at Martha’s Table by 9:30 am to set up and participate in the workshops. Also, please have your payment options available for purchases (cash app, cash, etc.)

A Beautiful Balance Inclusive, Inc. ABBI is organized exclusively for empowering children, youth, and young adults, by inspiring them to access the tools to embrace their full potential! We strive to cultivate each person's capacity to think, feel compassionate, and act purposefully while doing it with style and grace. We provide the community with access to an innovative hair artist, creativedesign artist, expert seamstress, and exquisite designer, leadership, organization, social skills, and etiquette programs. Feeling “beautiful” is priceless, while being “balanced” is feeling whole.
Mission Statement
At A Beautiful Balance Inclusive, Inc. ABBI we take pride in our commitment to excellence! We provide the DC Metropolitan area's youth with a range of diverse programs and activities that foster motivation and inspiration via the arts of fashion, hair artistry, creative design, manners, and social skills. Our competent, courteous, and knowledgeable team members will uplift, inform, and guide clients.
Melanee Williams
is a devoted advocate of community service and Restorative Justice. With over 15 years of experience, she excels as a professional Hairstylist and Creative Director, while also making a lasting impact as a Circle Facilitator, Mentor, and Journal Specialist. Her work embodies a passion for serving and empowering diverse individuals through Restorative Justice practices.
Paulette Williams
a skilled designer, combines her love for fashion with a strong dedication to community service. After retiring from the Library of Congress, she passionately supports young ladies by designing prom dresses and teaching dressing for success classes as part of the Welfare to Work Program at the UPO office, guiding individuals toward a brighter future.
Wanda Rose
a dedicated community leader of 30 years. Started at 14 in Ward 7. Her 20-year service role as a Cheerleading Coach with the District of Columbia Department of Recreation exemplifies her unwavering commitment to community service. She imparts crucial social skills and etiquette programs to empower individuals for community upliftment. A proven leader and Executive with experience in program management, problem-solving, and team organization/building. She serves as a role model, guiding and organizing young girls towards success and community betterment.
Domonique Mobley
the creative visionary behind Exploiting Personalities by Domonique Decorative Painting, advocates the significance of art from youth to adulthood, highlighting the manifold benefits of an open mind. Throughout her career, she has passionately personalized homes, businesses, and events to match her customers' distinct personalities and styles. Her artistic journey, ignited in childhood by her mother's shared moments of coloring, continues to inspire her lifelong passion for art.

Services
Our goal is to develop new life skills with assurance. In our vision, ABBI will play a significant role in grassroots community projects. By supporting summer camps, training seminars, and entrepreneurship workshops, and giving our youth the tools they need to succeed.
Painting Your Personality - is a unique craft session that encourages its participants to explore and express their own personalities and emotions artistically.
Manners/Social Skills - are most often ingrained from an early age.
It can be viewed as a foundation or a guide for building manners.
Passion for Fashion - teaches participants how to make things with hands-on projects, from items you may already have in your closet.
This allows you to be able to keep up with the fast-paced fashion trends.
Community Conversations - encourages the youth to be the best versions of themselves. We create a safe and confidential space for them to share and release their thoughts, dreams, and desires.
Hair & Flair - will provide training in cosmetology to our youth.
Each student will learn all the fundamentals and tools that they need to prepare them for runway shows, fashion shows, editorial work, and more.
The Youth Entrepreneur's "Explosion" - the objective of the event is to teach the youth entrepreneurship and life skills goals.
